The Angel Maternity Tummy Control Belly Band is a shapewear band designed to be worn under regular clothing during pregnancy - wrapping smoothly around the bump to provide gentle support and help relieve the lower back pressure that comes with a growing belly. It works as a transition piece in early pregnancy when regular waistbands become uncomfortable but maternity trousers feel too large, and continues to provide comfortable coverage through later pregnancy.
The band is discreet under clothing and does not show through fitted tops or jeans. It can also extend the wearable life of pre-pregnancy bottoms by covering the open waistband in the early months.

Most useful from the first trimester (when pre-pregnancy waistbands become uncomfortable) through to the third trimester. Some women continue wearing them postpartum for gentle core support.
Machine washable. Cold or gentle wash cycle recommended to preserve the stretch. Air dry rather than tumble dry to maintain elasticity.
