The rounded shallow shape is designed to let babies explore flavour and texture without a full spoon-load, and the ultra-soft silicone tip creates no discomfort on gums that are brand new to anything other than a bottle or breast. The design was developed with an infant nutrition specialist and speech therapist, not just styled to look like a miniature spoon.

When do I use pre-spoons vs 1st stage spoons?
Pre-spoons are for the earliest exploratory stage - from 4 months, adult-led food discovery. 1st stage spoons are for when a baby is actively being spoon-fed purees, typically from around 4-6 months and beyond. You may use pre-spoons first, then transition to 1st stage spoons as feeding becomes more structured.
Are they safe from 4 months?
Yes - the pre-spoons are designed specifically for the 4+ month stage. The ultra-soft silicone tip and rounded shape are safe for gums at this age. Always use with adult supervision during feeding.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes - both spoons are dishwasher safe and the food-grade silicone does not stain or retain flavours from previous feeds.
Are these available in other colours?
