The Cookeez Makery Bread Treatz Oven Playset is one of those rare toys where the reveal moment is genuinely surprising. Children mix a mystery dough, shape it using the included pet mould, and put it in the toy oven - when the 90-second timer dings and the oven door opens, they find a warm, deliciously scented interactive plush friend waiting inside. The "baking" process transforms the dough into a soft electronic plush that responds to touch with nurturing sounds, and when squeezed longer, warms up for two minutes. There are six different Baked Treatz plush friends to create and collect across two assortments: Cinnamon Treatz (Cinnamon Pooch, Fondant Feline, Strawberry Swirl) and Baked Treatz (Barky Bun, Ciacatta Bake, Wheatney Bunny). The result of each bake is a surprise - children don't know which plush they'll get until the mould reveals the animal inside.

How the Cookeez Makery oven works

The experience unfolds in stages that are each genuinely engaging. Opening the box reveals the ingredients sachets - children pour these into the measuring cup, stir to mix the dough, and shape it into the pet mould using the spatula. The shaped dough goes into the oven, the door closes, and the 90-second timer begins. When it dings, the dough has transformed into a warm, scented interactive plush. The warmth is real - the oven uses gentle heat to warm the plush so it feels freshly baked when children hold it. The scent is baked-treat-inspired. The plush itself is electronic: it makes sounds when touched and squeezing it longer activates two minutes of warmth for hugging.

The Cookeez Makery Baked Treatz Oven is a surprise unboxing - children won't know which of the six possible plush friends they'll create until the animal shape is revealed in the mould. The six characters split across two assortments. Cinnamon Treatz includes Cinnamon Pooch, Fondant Feline, and Strawberry Swirl. Baked Treatz includes Barky Bun, Ciacatta Bake, and Wheatney Bunny. For families who want to create multiple characters, additional ingredient sachets are sold separately (single-use - each bake uses one set of ingredients). The oven and moulds are reusable; only the ingredient sachets are consumed each bake.
